Components Covered
Because so many components are covered, it is not possible to list everything that falls under coverage. Instead, a small number of parts are not covered. Items not covered include oil, brake shoes, belts, hoses, tires, tune up items, filters, air conditioning coolants, exhaust and emission parts, sound reproduction, lighting, cosmetic and body parts, glass, and paint. Please see the service agreement for a complete listing.
EEP Coverage
Optional expanded electronics protection may include GPS and navigation components, key fob repair or replacement with exchange, liquid crystal display screens, DVD players, satellite radios, MP3 enabled radios, stereos, backup and reverse sensors, rearview backup camera, side mirror camera, rearview mirror camera, collision avoidance systems, lane departure warning system, HomeLink system, WiFi data connection system, accessory power point connection systems, Bluetooth system, and driver assist systems.
Main Street - Deluxe
Air Conditioning
Factory installed compressor, clutch and coil assembly, evaporator, accumulator, and condenser. Evacuation and recharge are included in conjunction with replacement of listed components.
Steering
Power steering pump, electronic steering motor, steering gear housing and its internal parts, and rack and pinion assembly.
Brakes
Master cylinder, ABS master cylinder, brake booster, wheel cylinders, disc brake calipers, hydraulic lines, and fittings.
Cooling
Radiator, fan clutch, water pump, and cooling fan motor.
Electrical
Battery, voltage regulator, alternator, front and rear wiper motors and module, window motors, window regulators, cooling fan motor, electric fuel pump, ignition module and coils, engine operation computer, distributor, starter, starter solenoid, seat motors, door lock actuators, and manually operated switches for listed components.
Automatic Transmission
Chain, drum assembly, solenoids, bushings, accumulator, clutches, bands, servos, parking pawl, speedometer gear, transmission cooler, and pistons.
First Street - Drivetrain Plus
Engine
Crankshaft and bearings, oil pump, oil pump pickup screen and tube, pistons, piston rings, wrist pins, connecting rods and bearings, timing gears, timing chain or belt, timing tensioners and guides, camshaft and bearings, push rods, rocker arms and shaft, hydraulic lifters, intake and exhaust valves and springs, and cylinder head gaskets. The engine block is covered if mechanical failure is caused by the listed parts.
Automatic Transmission
Transmission parts consisting of gears, input and output shafts, bearings, front pump, planetary assemblies, overdrive carrier, reaction carrier, center support, parking lock actuator, stator and stator shaft, separator plate, pressure regulator valve, dipstick and filler tube, sprags, governor assembly, valve body, torque converter, and transmission case when damage is caused by failure of listed lubricated parts.
Standard Transmission
Transmission parts consisting of internally lubricated bearings, input and output shafts, gears, overdrive housing, and the transmission case when damage is caused by failure of listed lubricated parts.
Drive Axle Assembly
Two wheel drive: coverage includes the drive shaft, ring and pinion gears, pinion bearings, side carrier bearings, carrier assembly, thrust washers, axle, axle bearings, limited slip clutch pack assembly, universal joints, CV joints, and drive axle housing.
Four wheel and all wheel drive: coverage includes the transfer case motor, drive shaft, differential, CV joints, and transfer case parts listed in the service agreement.
Labor
All agreements provide for reasonable and customary payment of labor. Complete terms and provisions are contained within each service agreement.
Route 66 Extended Warranty gathers important information from you in connection with the on-line business applications and related services. Route 66 Extended Warranty does not require that each user give us contact and other business and personal information. Route 66 Extended Warranty asks for information such as each applicable user name, address, e-mail address, federal employer identification number (FEIN) and financial or other accounting information. As our requirements evolve, we may ask for additional personal and/or business information from the user.
All personally and business identifiable information (including, financial and billing information) that Route 66 Extended Warranty collects through the website is used to offer and perform the services. Route 66 Extended Warranty will not sell, share or rent your information to third party entities. Route 66 Extended Warranty may track and analyze non-identifying and aggregate usage and volume statistical information for internal use - information will not be provided to entities outside Route 66 Extended Warranty Route 66 Extended Warranty may collect certain other, usually technical, information from visitors to and users of the website. This information is logged to help diagnose technical problems and to administer the website.
