Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is Coming!

At Unison Credit Union, your security is our top priority. That’s why starting October 21, 2025, we’re adding Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to your online and mobile banking accounts.

What is MFA?
MFA is a simple way to add an extra layer of protection to your accounts. In addition to your password (something you know), you’ll be asked to confirm your identity with something you have — like a onetime code sent to your cell phone or email every time you log in. This makes it much harder for hackers to gain access, even if they manage to steal your password.

Why it matters
Passwords alone are no longer enough to stop cybercriminals. MFA dramatically reduces the risk of fraud by requiring two steps to log in. That extra layer keeps your sensitive information safer — giving you peace of mind every time you bank with us.

** Update Your Information Today **

To use MFA successfully, we need to have your current cell phone number and email address on file. Without it, you won’t be able to access your account once MFA is activated. Sometimes, old landlines or outdated email addresses linger on our records without members realizing — so now is the perfect time to check that we have your most up-to-date contact information.
