Unison Credit Union matches $100,000 in donations to support families affected by the July tornado.
On July 27, 2026, a devastating EF-3 tornado tore through Menasha, leaving behind damaged homes, businesses and neighborhoods. For many families, the storm brought unexpected challenges and a long road to recovery.
On September 13, the community came together at Stone Toad Bar & Grill for Rock for Relief: Menasha Strong, a benefit concert supporting tornado relief efforts through LEAVEN.
$200,000 Raised for Local Families
Thanks to the generosity of local residents, businesses and event supporters, Rock for Relief raised $200,000 for LEAVEN, including a $100,000 match from Unison Credit Union.
Unison committed to matching donations dollar for dollar, up to $100,000, to help provide additional support for families affected by the storm.
These funds will help LEAVEN continue its work assisting individuals and families facing financial hardship, including those recovering from the tornado.
A Community That Shows Up
Hosted by Stone Toad Bar & Grill, the event brought together local musicians, businesses and volunteers for a full day of live music and fundraising.
Members of our UCrew were proud to volunteer throughout the event, joining hundreds of neighbors who came out to show their support.
A special thank-you to Stone Toad Bar & Grill, the event organizers, performers, sponsors, volunteers and everyone who contributed. Your generosity made this incredible outcome possible.
Menasha Strong is more than the name of an event. It's a reflection of the people who call this community home.
