A Letter from our President and CEO, Mark Hietpas!

Warm weather is here to stay leading into our first few weeks of summer. The ability to be outside comfortably has members eager to get out and about – leading into the perfect time to refinance or invest in a new ride; car, boat, motorcycle or more!

Not only are our members out and about, they are back inside visiting our lobbies at all of our Unison branches. While adapting to some kind of normal, it’s great to see friendly and familiar faces interacting with our Tellers and other Unison staff!

Last month, 150 members participated in our poll asking who your favorite Packers draft pick was, roughly 47% chose Cole Van Lanen, OT, Wisconsin, 23.9% chose Amari Rodgers, WR, Clemson, 8.8% chose Josh Myers, C. Ohio State 7.5% chose Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia and collectively 13% chose either Kylin Hill, Tedarrell Slaton, Royce Newman, Shemar Jean-Charles or Isaiah McDuffie.

Join our Board!

Unison Credit Union is seeking a qualified member, in good standing, to join our Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is responsible for the general oversight and final decision-making authority over the affairs, funds and records of the credit union; ensuring the credit union is operated in a sound and prudent manner and that all decisions are guided by the best interests of the members. Our Board consists of 9 members who meet once a month.

This position would be filling a current board seat through 2021 and would be up for re-election in 2022. In addition to meeting attendance, it is important that all members of our Board of Directors have and retain a basic knowledge of credit union philosophy, along with a basic understanding of the various aspects of credit union operations.
