Congratulations to four 2022 Graduates on being Awarded the John Aman Memorial Scholarship

Four high school seniors chosen based on their community involvement and academics.

We are pleased to announce the 2022 John Aman Memorial Scholarship recipients. These four area high school seniors each received a $2,000 scholarship for their excellent service in the community and exceptional academics.

“The John Aman Memorial Scholarship allows Unison Credit Union the opportunity to recognize local students that embody the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people,’” said Mark Hietpas, Unison Credit Union president and CEO. ‘it is with great privilege to award these five individuals this scholarship, as each one has gone above and beyond for their community and showcased leadership amongst their classmates”.

The 2022 John Aman Memorial Scholarship recipients include:

Garett Graff, Kaukauna High School                          Mr. Garett Graff has made a strong impact on his community as he has been involved in and is an active volunteer for the following projects and organizations: Kaukauna K-9 Unit, St. Joseph’s Food Pantry, Kaukauna Key Club, Kaukauna Ghost Crew, Kaukauna Football Leadership, Lights of Christmas, and Secura Insurance Blanket Making. In addition to his community involvement, Garret has received six varsity letters in track and football! Due to all his heavy involvement with the police department, Garett will be attending the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh to pursue Criminal Justice.

Lydia Feidt, Fox Valley Lutheran High School
Ms. Lydia Feidt has made a great impact on her community through her involvement and active volunteerism for the following projects: Sunday school teacher for St. Paul Ministries, Youth A-team and B-team volleyball coach for St. Paul Ministries, Youth C-team basketball coach for Nothing But Net & St. Paul Ministries, 14U volleyball coach for Club Fox Valley, Vacation Bible School leader for St. Paul Ministries, student coach for basketball and volleyball camps for Fox Valley Lutheran, and Tennessee mission trip for Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball. Lydia will be attending Martin Luther College to pursue Elementary Education.

Carissa Hendricks, Wrightstown High School
Ms. Carissa Hendricks has made a strong impact on her community and has been involved/volunteered for the following projects: T-Ball Assistant Coach for the Wrightstown Softball Association, volunteer at the St. Clare Parish, Tiger Camp/Young Tigers Helper for the Wrightstown Full Court Club, active volunteer for Future Business Leaders of America Activities, Steubenville Core Team Leader for the Diocese of Green Bay, and Miracle League Buddy for the Miracle League of the Fox Valley. Carissa has shown outstanding leadership skills within her school, classmates, extracurricular activities, and volunteerism efforts. She was involved in the National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Student Council, Student Athletic Advisory Board, and more. This fall, Carissa will be attending the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse to pursue her Business Degree.

Trisha Lenz, Little Chute Career Pathways Academy
Ms. Trisha Lenz has made an outstanding impact on her community and has been involved in or volunteered for the following projects: selected school representative for Teen Symposium, volunteer at Our Shepherd Child Care, volunteer at Feeding America, Youth Group Coach, donor, and volunteer for the Community Blood Center, and attended a Nursing Camp at the National Student Leadership Conference. In addition, Trisha has an outstanding involvement in 25 extracurricular activities. Some of these activities include Forensics, as well as President and Competitor of the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA). Trisha will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to pursue her Nursing (BSN).

The annual scholarship is awarded in honor of John Aman, Unison Credit Union’s first CEO, who was hired in 1970. Aman is remembered for his commitment to the credit union industry as well as serving the community.
